AI consultancy for SME manufacturers — Ireland & UK

Your business is running on rev.A.

We audit how the work actually flows, mark up what's costing you hours, and build the revision. No retainer to start. No hype.

01Who it's for

You already know which job is the slow one.

SME owners and leaders who suspect AI could help but don't have the time or in-house expertise to act on it. You want a hands-on, accountable operator — not a large-consultancy sales process.

The usual trigger isn't a general interest in "doing AI." It's one specific, named process that's visibly slow, error-prone, or getting harder to staff.

In short: rev.B Consultancy is an AI consultancy for SME manufacturers, working across Ireland and the UK, especially manufacturing and engineering firms. Work starts with a fixed-price AI audit (€3,000–€5,000 for a small business), then builds the systems that give the time back.

  • 01

A quote pack takes half a day to assemble and one person is the only one who knows how.

  • 02

The same numbers get re-typed into three systems every week, and they still don't agree.

  • 03

Someone spends Friday chasing paperwork that should have arrived on its own.

02How it works

We find the hours. Then we build them back in.

Four stages, in order, with a fixed price agreed before each one. You can stop after any of them.

01 / DISCOVERY

Discovery

Structured interviews with the people doing the work, plus whatever process docs exist. Short, low-effort on your side, scheduled around your availability.

02 / ROADMAP

Roadmap

Time-sinks and quality-risks plotted on an impact-vs-effort matrix, then co-created into a prioritised, costed plan — not dictated to you.

03 / BUILD

Build

Quick wins shipped in 30–90 days, larger systems phased in after. Each build is checked against the process it was scoped against, so it fits how the work actually happens.

04 / SUPPORT

Support

An optional monthly retainer once systems are live, so what we build keeps running without becoming your problem to maintain.

Every opportunity, plotted and costed.

This is what lands on your desk at the end of an audit — not a slide deck of AI trends. Each dot is a real process we found, sized by the hours it's eating and placed by what it takes to fix. Hover one.

  • Document & reporting generation
  • Quick wins first, larger systems phased in
  • Built to match the process it was scoped against
PART 03 · SUPPORT

Support

Optional, once things are live.

  • Monthly retainer to keep systems running

06About

Built to fix the time-sinks no one else is fixing.

rev.B exists because the same time-sinks kept showing up across teams, with no one dedicated to going and fixing them.

Every engagement starts with an audit of how the work actually happens — not a generic AI strategy deck — so what gets built solves a real time-sink instead of chasing a trend.

No lengthy sales process. No template roadmap. Just a clear audit of where the hours are going, a prioritised plan, and systems built to match how the business actually runs.

08What we've built

Systems we operate ourselves, not a pitch deck.

None of these are client engagements — they're tools rev.B has built and runs day to day, proof of what "AI implementation" looks like in practice.

PART 01 · FABER

AI-designed parts, straight into CAD

Phone-based design tool

Describe a part in plain language and an LLM checks it against a manufacturing rulebase, then drives the CAD software directly to model it — no one touches CAD by hand. STEP, DXF, drawing and preview files export automatically.

Live & verified real part requests, checked against real output
PART 02 · COS CREW

A coordinated AI team, not one chatbot

Six coordinated agents, one chat

A Chief of Staff delegates to specialists — research, outreach, content, analysis, deliverables — each with its own defined role and access boundary, instead of one model quietly doing five jobs badly.

PART 03 · MARKETING TEAM

An AI marketing team for a live consumer app

Content, outreach & lead-matching hub

An AI agent drafts on-brand content and reports outreach health through chat, while a separate pipeline classifies inbound signals, matches them to real customers, and drafts tailored outreach — conservative on any uncertain match.

10FAQ

The questions that always come up.

Is the first call free, and what happens on it?

Yes — a free 30-minute conversation, not a sales pitch. It's there to explain exactly how the audit and build process works, answer questions, and see if there's a fit before anything is agreed. Slots run around your schedule, including early morning and evening.

How long does an audit take?

Typically 1–2 weeks from kickoff to the roadmap being in your hands, depending on how many stakeholders need interviewing and how quickly process docs are available.

What data do you need from us?

Mostly your time, not your data — structured interviews with the people doing the work, plus whatever process documentation already exists. Nothing sensitive is required for the audit itself; data-handling for any build is scoped and agreed separately.

Who owns what we build?

You do. Anything built for your business is yours outright — no ongoing licence fee to keep using it.

Do you replace our IT team?

No. This sits alongside whatever IT support you have, focused specifically on AI-driven process and workflow work rather than general IT.

What tools do you use?

Whatever fits the problem and your existing stack — most builds lean on Claude/Anthropic tooling, standard automation platforms, and custom software where nothing off-the-shelf fits.

What if we're not "AI-ready"?

Most SMEs aren't, and that's fine — the audit exists to find the specific, concrete opportunities rather than assume you need a company-wide AI strategy on day one.

Do grants exist to help pay for this?

Often, depending on where your business is based — local grant and voucher schemes can cover part of the cost. In Ireland, for example, the Enterprise Ireland Digital Discovery Grant can cover 80% of the audit fee for companies with 10+ full-time staff, up to a €5,000 grant, and a separate LEO voucher can offset build-stage tooling costs. See the full grants breakdown, or ask on the call what's available in your region.
